Strongly influenced and shaped by the sounds and visuals experienced in Morocco, AYIN sets itself as a spiritual quest on the meaning of music rituality: Indeed, the album works as a fluid composition between electronic sounds , ethnic and religious rhythms, ancient musical melodies such as Byzantine liturgies and sounds of violins, church bells and drum machines.
The result is meant to recreate an evocative atmosphere bonding western and eastern musical backgrounds, where elements belonging to different side of the world melt together; the sound of AYIN exquisitely combines a spiritual world re-connecting to the "ancient past " with a contemporary present, technologically oppressive, dazed and confused.
